MITCHELL – Connie Leigh Lewis, 69, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at her residence.

Born September 12, 1952, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Jackie Lee and Maxine Agnes “Mickey” Doub.  She married Steven Joseph Lewis June 7, 1984, and he preceded her in death October 12, 2009.

Connie was self-employed as an upholsterer.  She was a member of the Work of God Church.  Connie loved spending time with her grandchildren and landscaping. 

Surviving:          children, Keely (Travis) Armstrong of Orleans, and

                                          Trevor (Jamie Brown) Johnson of Mitchell;

                   grandchildren, Joshua (Ellie) Spradlin, Megan Spradlin, Melissa Arp,      

                                           Summer Arp, McKenzie (Joel) Beasley, Veyla Beasley, and   

                                           Kaiya Johnson;

          Step-grandchildren, Austin Armstrong, Dillon Armstrong, Cooper Armstrong,

                                           Jordan Rio, and Jasmine Rio;

                           siblings,  Cary (Beth) Doub of Mitchell, and

                                          Carmen (Les Goldsby, deceased) Burton of Mitchell; and

                 brother-in-law, Amel Kern of Williams.

Her parents; husband; and sister, Candy Kern preceded her in death.

Cremation has been chosen with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
