I still can't believe my Daddy is gone. I loved/love him so very much He was a good Dad we had our differences, some say it was because we were so much alike, but he always made sure I knew how much he loved me. He always said no matter how old I got I would always be his baby girl George. I loved his laughter and his smile it would brighten the darkest days.People were drawn to him because of his kindness and laughter, he never met a stranger. I wish he would be there to walk me down the aisle someday. I know in my heart he and Uncle Johnny will be there always. I am thankful for the time we did have, and that he was here to get to see how wonderful his grandsons are and that they got to see how wonderful he was. I remember he would always sing this silly song when he was cleaning up and shaving "it's hard to be humble when your as handsome as I, oh Lord its hard to be humble when your perfect in every way" I pray I always hear him singing that song and wearing that big smile. That is always how I will remember him perfect in every way. I love you very much Daddy.

I liked to hear Danny laugh and tell stories. There are times in your life that things happen for reasons we do not have the answers for. Danny will always be with us but we must let him go as hard as it is for us to do, for we are the ones who must walk through life with only memories of the love ones who have gone before us, as we wonder when our time is Danny, ride on. Love, Mike

We will all miss Danny. my husband D.J. Hignite and I Teresa (Gyger) Hignite grew up with him and enjoyed his smiling face.We had a lot of good times. We rode cycles together as kids and listen to old country songs together. I took care of him in the hospital, he had been sick but thought he would be around for a while for his daughters. He was a good friend a brother I never had. He had a good heart and would help anyone. I know how much he loved his daughters and family he spoke of them every time we seen him. Our prayers are sent to his family. If there is anything we can do just call. Mr. & Mrs D.J. Hignite

As I write this, I've heard that Danny hasn't been well for some time. Life is like the shooting of a star, across the midnight sky, Which means, when we are born, we all have our own race to meet our maker. Well, Danny's race is over, For he is now with Johnnie, and his health is much better. May the Good Lord take a liken to all of you, and be with you, doing this time...... Bud & Cathy Wilcoxen.
