MITCHELL – David Gene Tincher, 69, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Indiana University Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born June 22, 1951, in Mitchell, he was the son of William Clarence and Betty Rose (Moore) Tincher.  He married Cynthia Alice O’Malley December 19, 1980.

He retired from RCA and had been employed at General Electric and Professional Golfcar Corporation.

David was a 1971 graduate of Mitchell High School, and a member of American Legion Post No. 250 and Sportsman’s Gun Club.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

    Dave was one of us First Thursdays, and never missed a jam. Years ago he taught me "Sleepy-eyed Boy" and I think of him when ever I play it. Dave gave me many gifts over the years, some were things, most were good memories. I'll always miss him. ~fender
