Dawnetta was an angel on earth. She was always there for me when I was a single father while in the military. My son adopted her as his interim mom and would knock on her door to play with Zach. I would give him breakfast on the weekends and go back to bed while leaving him in front of the tv. He would then sneak outside, go next door and tell Dawnetta that he was hungry. She was always graceful and gave me a hard time about it. We love her and Mike and send our love and prayers.

Mike and family, I am so sorry to hear of your immense loss. Dawnetta was such a sweet and caring lady. She treated my Momma and I with kindness every time we saw her. She always made me smile telling stories about Mike and the family. Her beautiful smile and warmth will be missed.

A WARM HUG is the best way to describe Dawnetta. Wonderful cook, animal caregiver, avid gardener, trusted friend, and music appreciator (rock and loud alternative:) are only a few of her great qualities. Memories abound for her amazing self. A blessing for all of us.
