MITCHELL – Dearl C. Reynolds, beloved father to his children, 75, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.

Born May 27, 1949, in Bedford, he was the son of Elgan Wright and Roanna June (Cooper) Reynolds.

Dearl was a 1967 graduate of Mitchell High School.  He retired as a maintenance supervisor at Dana PTG, but the jobs he was most proud of were facilities engineer consultant in Mexico for set-up and operation of equipment, and at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida working on robotics for the space shuttle program.  Dearl served in the National Guard and was a member of the VFW Post No. 9107 Auxiliary and the Sons of American Legion Post No. 250.  He was a man of immense humor and wisdom.  Dearl lived his life to the fullest.

Surviving are his children, Ruth A. Terrell of Bedford, Dustin S. Reynolds of Mitchell, Daron D. Reynolds of Mitchell, and Darick D. Reynolds of Mitchell; several grandchildren; and siblings, Connie (Oren) Stoll of Loogootee, Michelle Porter of Orleans, and Lanie Reynolds of Mitchell.

His parents; son, Dearl Reynolds; and brother, Ronald Wayne Reynolds, preceded him in death.

Cremation has been chosen.
