MITCHELL – Dixie L. Butler, 67, 421 West Burton Street, Mitchell, went to be with the Lord at 5:33 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007, at Dunn Memorial Hospital, Bedford.
Born February 21, 1940, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Elmo and Vivian (Lee) Mayden. She married Ray Butler in 1985.
She was a former teller at the First National Bank and was a member of the Mitchell First Church of God.

Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 3, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Roland Holtsclaw and Bro. Kenny Bundy officiating. Burial will be in Lawrenceport Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
