ORLEANS Donald Baker Bishop, 74, Orleans, passed away at 1:50 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007, at Washington County Memorial Hospital.
Born March 11, 1933, in Orange County, he was the son of Glen and Ruth Margaret (Baker) Bishop. He married Shirley Jane Bell September 17, 1955.
He was a retired farmer and was a school bus driver for Orleans Community Schools for 45 years. He was a 1951 graduate of Orleans High School. He was a member of Carters Creek Christian Church where he served as deacon, elder, Sunday School superintendent, and treasurer, as well as serving on the Board of Trustees.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, at Carters Creek Christian Church with Bro. Eugene Pruett officiating. Burial will be in Claysville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Chastain Funeral Home and from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
