MITCHELL — Donald Pridemore, 78, (Huron Community) passed away at 10:45 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at his residence.
Born January 21, 1935, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Linza and Gathelene (Owen) Pridemore. He married Gloria Wigley October 30, 1964.
He had been employed at Spring Mill State Park as a painter and during his retirement, he was a security guard for Williams Investigations.
Donald was a U. S. Marine veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post No. 250.

several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Charles “George” Pridemore, Robert Pridemore, and Wendell Pridemore.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. Rob Martindale officiating. Burial will be in Connerley Switch Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Patriot Guard, American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 1:00 p.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
