MITCHELL Dorothy Louise Henderson Pickhart, 81, Mitchell, passed away at 11:02 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2007, at Bedford Regional Medical Center.
Born November 11, 1926, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Benjamin H. and Rosa Z. (Nickless) Grimes. She married Vernon Cotton Henderson November 2, 1946, and he preceded her in death October 4, 1972.
She retired from Mitchell Manor Nursing Home after 28 years of service in the housekeeping and laundry department.

Her parents; husband; sister, Farrell Ebert; and brothers, Rollie, Harold, and Ben Grimes, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Duncan and Daniel Piwonka officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
