MITCHELL – Emma Lucille “Lucy” Fletcher, 92, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, at her residence.
Born September 15, 1924, in Hopper, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Joseph Austin and Edith Irene (Herring) Coffman. She was first married to Richard Feighner and he preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Robert Fletcher August 30, 1956, and he preceded her in death May 6, 1985.
Lucy retired from the JayC Store in Bedford, and attended Woodville Baptist Church. Following retirement, she was a caregiver for several years in the Lawrence County area. During World War II, Lucy was a “Rosie the Riveter.”

Her parents; husband; son, Tim Fletcher; and siblings, Barbara Hays and Boyd Coffman, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 13, at Woodville Baptist Church with Reverends Glenn Hamer, Ron Allender, Mike Lawson, Jim Russell, and Carl Mann officiating. Burial will be in Bass Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Monday at the church.
