MITCHELL Ethel Marie Stancombe, 70, Mitchell, passed away at 4:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at her residence.
Born January 14, 1940, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Clyde and Nettie (East) Stancombe.
She was a babysitter for many years.

Her parents; grandson, Matthew Young; sisters, Gertrude Lutes, Winona Stancombe, and Leora Parker; and brothers, Leonard, Manuel, Donald, Manferd, Lenuel Bud, and Lennie Stancombe, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 26 in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Kersey officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
