MITCHELL – Eula Manitoo Ritchison, 84, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at her residence.

Born March 31, 1941, in Lee County, Virginia, she was the daughter of James Milam and Lillian (Hall) Slemp.  She married John Harold Ritchison on June 26, 1959 and he survives.

Eula was a 1958 graduate of Mitchell High School.  She worked for M. Fine & Sons for over 20 years.  Eula attended Spice Valley Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, John Harold Ritchison of Mitchell; daughter, Cindy Jo Lynch of Mitchell; grandchildren, John Russell (Marissa) Lynch of Mitchell and Leah Marie Lynch of Mitchell; and great-grandchildren, Aidan Russell Lynch, Grayson David Lynch, and Annison Christine Lynch.

Her parents and brother, Bascom Slemp, preceded her in death.

Cremation has been chosen.

    Mana toooo is what Harrison called her I can hear him saying it now I can’t stop thinking about all the love she had for all her family I didn’t know that she had passed when John came in Saturday I knew she was sick but it shocked me all the same I loved her so much she was a wonderful woman and friend I will miss her every day always in my memory love to John Cindy and rest of family❤

    I was on dialysis with Eula, she was such a sweet lady. I really thought a lot of her and John. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
