MITCHELL — Evelyn M. Hoggatt, 89, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2011, at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida.

Born September 1, 1921, in Wampum, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Clifford and Ruth I. (Worthington) Scott. She married Lawrence Alfred Hoggatt August 13, 1938, and he preceded her in death August 14, 2007.

She was a beautician and had owned Vogue Beauty Salon.

Robert Dean (Christy) Hoggatt, Bradenton, Florida
grandchildren,
Briget, Erica, and Brian
great grandchildren,
Kaleb and Savannah
sister,
Ozella Mathis, Bedford
Thomas Scott, Gladstone, Michigan

Her parents; brothers, Jack Scott, Bill Scott, and Winford Scott; and sisters, Juanita Lovechuck and Bessie Risley, preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 20, at Mitchell Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie McLain officiating.

Friends may call from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at Chastain Funeral Home.
