MITCHELL – Gary Lee Little, 55, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021, in French Lick.

Born October 11, 1966, in Paoli, he was the son of Walter H. “Stibe” and Sue Ann (Graves) Little.

Gary had been employed 11 years at the French Lick Resort where he was a dedicated and well-liked employee.  He enjoyed spending free time with his sons.  Gary was an avid fan of the Colts and Braves and recently got to see the Braves win the World Series.

He was a 1984 graduate of Mitchell High School.

Surviving:            sons, Josh Little of Mitchell

                       siblings, Lisa (Glenn) Coyle of Mitchell

                                     Richard (Missy) Little of Mitchell

                                     Amy Houshour of Mitchell

                                     Lana Payton of Mitchell

His parents preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Darrin Chastain officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

The family has suggested contributions in his memory be sent to Jacob Little in care of Hoosier Hills Credit Union.

    Sorry to hear about this. Gary and I were friends from elementary to high school but we lost contact after graduation. I remember going to Gary's 11th birthday party in 1977. We all went to Bedford to see "Star Wars" and had a sleepover afterwards. Great time and a memory that I'll always cherish.
