BEDFORD – Goldie Chambers, born October 13, 1939, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, at the age of 86, surrounded by her loving family.

A devoted mother of seven, Goldie was known for her boundless kindness, gentle heart, and tireless work ethic.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially thrifting and going to auctions, always enjoying the thrill of finding a special treasure. Goldie was the kind of person who would give anything she had to help someone in need. Her warmth, generosity, and love touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

She leaves behind a large and loving family, including her children and many, many grandchildren who will forever cherish her love, stories, and the memories they shared with her.

Goldie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Chambers, and three of her seven children.

She will be deeply missed, but the spirit of her kindness and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Cremation has been chosen.  Graveside service will be held at a later date.

I just loved Goldie, she was so sweet! I enjoyed going to church, out to eat, & talkin with her, Sister Becky, & their "gang." Also really enjoyed the Sister Becky dinner & sing nights with them all. Thankful to God for the sweet fellowship & worshipping The Lord in the short time we had together. I will always feel like that was a gift from God! And I am.really looking forward to being with them in Heaven!! Sending you big hugs, Mindy, my grade school friend, and praying for you & all the family. Your mom was a wonderful lady, was so pretty, full of life, a hard worker, and she loved you all so much! I know you will miss her. Remember her beautiful smile & think of how happy she must be in Heaven!!
