MITCHELL – Gwendolyn Sue Horn, 87, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023, at U of L Health Louisville Hospital.

Born May 15, 1935, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Ola Mundy.

Surviving are her children, Vicki (Mike) Zellner of Mitchell, Gary (Delores) Tincher of West Point, Kentucky, and Rhonda Guy of Mitchell; siblings, Sherry Stearns of Mitchell and Linda Terrell of Mitchell; and her beloved cat, Annie.

Cremation has been chosen.  A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 29, 2024, at Mitchell Cemetery with burial alongside her daughter, Rhonda Guy.

    One awesome lady and the best mother-in-law ever. She cared about others and I always thought it special how she and my mother would write to each other and encourage each other to keep going no matter what they were dealing with. I believe they are together now and can enjoy each day while they wait for us to join them. A truly sweet lady that is greatly missed. Love you mums!
