WILLIAMS – Harold R. Inman, 85, Williams, passed away at 5:42 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2007, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bedford.
Born April 16, 1921, in Oolitic, he was the son of Grover and Loretta (Harp) Inman. He married Dorothy Hearth January 5, 1946, and she preceded him in death February 19, 1998.
He retired from building construction, was employed 30 years with Hatfield and Kellams, and was a charter member of Local 741 Laborers and Hod Carriers Union.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Huron Baptist Church.

His parents; wife; sisters, Mabel Jones, Ruby Bough, and Mary Catherine Ferguson; and brothers, Ora Inman and James Inman, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Allender officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens with military honors accorded by Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
