Our family sends our most heartfelt condolences to Gene's family. Both of us worked with Geno at Hall Bros. and our family loved him.. Of course, Mark was closer and could share many stores about him. One of the most memorable stories was the day Gene "landed" the red Ford down by Patoka Lake! Another good memory was Gene riding with Josh in the 2016 Dogwood Festival parade. I have shared this video on my page. Dennis Fields was the emcee. I couldn't see Gene in the truck, but we know he was in there.. Dennis pays tribute to him as a Veteran in his announcement of the Hall Bros. entry. Josh had grown up with Geno around and even put up some hay for him. Gene will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. 💔🙏❤🇺🇸

Gene I always enjoyed you when you stopped at City Hall and alway talked to me, most of the Time you talked and I listened because you couldn’t hear very well. I never gave it a thought when we put you in the ambulance it would be the last I would see you alive till we meet again in heaven. My friend.
