We have gathered here in what we have learned to be a sense of duty in showing our respect and sincere sympathy. It is in this sense that these neighbors and friends have become a part of this occasion to drop a flower, shed a tear or give a mutual expression of sincere sympathy to the bereaved family. We are reminded in the Holy writings that a good name is better to be chosen than great riches and loving favor rather than silver and gold. And today as we come into this place with the family of Hazel Faye Kesterson, we are made to realize the full meaning of these lines and sacredness to Him.
