BEDFORD – Helen Dale Parson, 90, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at her residence.

Born August 17, 1933, in French Lick, she was the daughter of Guy Emmett and Ermel Beatrice (Moffatt) Young. Helen married Walter E. Parson, and he preceded her in death on August 10, 1990.

Surviving are her children, Allen R. Evans of Bedford and Debra Leeanne (Randy) Lee of Bedford; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Janie (Albert) Blake of Mitchell.

Her parents; husband; sons, Ronald Elwood Evans and Steven Lynn Evans; infant sister, Marilyn Young; and daughter-in-law, Sonia I. Evans, preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, at Clover Hill Cemetery.

I was Helen's nurse for several years at Dr Basani/Dr Cratons office and I loved her wit and spunk. I really enjoyed taking care of her. I was sorry to hear about her passing. Prayers to the family.
