MITCHELL – Helen E. Rightley, 87, Mitchell, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Friday, March 2, at Bloomington Hospital.
Born September 6, 1919, in Washington County, she was the daughter of Samuel and Nellie (Phipps) Coots. She married Raymond C. Rightley April 17, 1937, and he preceded her in death May 23, 1996.
She attended high school in Orleans, was a homemaker, and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Her parents; husband; brothers, Ernest, Louis, Charles, and Clarence Coots; and sister, Edith Coots preceded her in death.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Rick Eldred officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Chastain Funeral Home.
A Prayer Service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
