So sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. We shared many commutes to summer school at IU, she braved a late spring snow storm to play at our wedding and helped us find a home. She was a wonderful lady.

Helen. One of my most favorite people. Heart of gold. Honest, kind, a faithful friend, very wise. Mentor, friend, cherished sister in Christ. She loved me and I loved her; and the love God gives us lasts forever. Will see you again, Helen, soon! Sweet Barry, keep thinking about everything she taught you. She adored you. May your memories of your mom comfort you, may God's love surround you.

Many years ago, I took piano lessons from Mrs. Barnett. I was also in school with her son Barry. What a kind, gentle, loving person. May God bless you all and give you peace at this time of grieving.
