Kathy and I were sorry to hear the news of Peanut's passing. He was a guy who turned his life around and became a very good and respectable Carpenter. He did a lot of jobs for me through the years and it was always good and fair. The stories Jon Allen would share about the days they lived and worked in Venice, Florida are classics. Rest In Peace my friend, you will be missed by all.

Peanut was a longtime friend and we continued visiting over the years to share stories and past experiences, both good and otherwise. I will miss his visits to our office on a regular basis and staying in touch with an old friend.

Peanut was part of my Atchison family and was always an original. He was gruff, tuff, and sweet all wrapped into one. He would always tell me he remembered me as a little girl, long ago. I hated to hear he was gone. There will never be another like him. God bless my family and all those who loved him.
