HURON – Iris Lorene Fry, 93, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2014, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.

Born March 13, 1921, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Roscoe and Florence (Qualkenbush) Powell. She married Willard Bridges and he preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Charles Fry who also preceded her in death.

She retired from Stone City Products. Iris was a member of the Huron Church of God, the Missionary Society, and WTK Club.

Surviving: daughter, Janet Sue (Rex) Stroud, Bedford
 grandchildren, Jason Bridges
 Tami Wilson
 4 great grandchildren

Her parents; husbands; son, Gary L. Bridges; step daughter, Norma Ritchison; and siblings, Earl Powell, Doris Busick, and Donna Ruth McCracken, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
