BEDFORD – Irita “Rita” Kay Frost, 72, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at her residence.
Born October 1, 1951, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Willard Tillette and Juanita (Tincher) Enochs. Rita married David Wayne Frost and he preceded her in death April 24, 2016.
Rita worked as a prep cook at Golden Gables for over 30 years. She enjoyed camping and working in her yard. Rita’s family and grandbabies were her everything.
Surviving are her children, Jason (Mary Beth) Bundy of Bedford, Lisa McPherson of Bedford, and Rachel Bundy of Bedford; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Elnora Hassler of Bedford, Barbara Duncan of Mitchell, and Tony Tillette of Mitchell.
Her parents; husband; and siblings, James Tillette and Susan Dalton, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, at Mitchell Cemetery with Brother Ronnie Frost officiating.
