MITCHELL – Jack V. Scott, 72, Mitchell, passed away at 5:25 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at Core Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Huntingburg.
Born January 1, 1933, in Jackson County, he was the son of Clifford and Ruth (Worthington) Scott.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a 1951 graduate of Mitchell High School.

His parents; sisters, Juanita Lovechuck and Bessie Risley; and brother, Winford Scott, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Mitchell Cemetery with Brother Max Timbrook officiating. Military honors will be accorded at the graveside by Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
