Thank you all for your prayers & condolances. we (my family & I) have suffered a great loss. It will be a long life without my Hero!! I enjoyed sharing life with my parents. I find myself giggling at something funny that he or she has said or done! Dad's nurse had called a meeting in his room, family. & nurses, hospice, staff all gathered around him, he looked around at us and said "and me without my tie!" haha!! Ya gotta love him!! His hospice nurse said "Jack, your going to die & its going to bee soon!" he looked at her & said "Today ?!" I almost spit my teeth out!!! Lol!! I loved his ability to make ya laugh & hard! He always said "it hurts less to laugh, than to cry!" So true! Rip my friend, my Dad! I love you!

From the first time, as a little girl, he threw me up on a horse I found two loves that day, my love for horses and my love for "Uncle Jack". Of course he wasn't my blood uncle but he had horses and said it was okay for me to call him that. My dad loved him so very much. They would tell jokes and laugh and laugh. I still remember that laugh. I had just asked mom how he was the day before, and when she called to tell me he was gone I was silent as my heart hurt and then the tears came. He was an amazing man whom I loved. Mickey and Family my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. God Bless you. RIP Uncle Jack...you are already missed.

You all know how special Jack was to me, and my family. He brought joy, and happiness where ever he went. He used to pick me up, and take me to Spring Mill with him every morning in the summer while he was lifeguarding. He worked with my Uncle Tuck, and was just part of our family. He would always tell me how much he liked my Dad, that was special. We will miss you Jack, and you know that we love you. Rest in peace, and I'll see you at the resurrection.

Dear Mickey and Family, Ronnie and I are very sorry for your loss. Jack was a very unique individual and will be missed by many. . . . especially us. Having met both you and Jack over 47 years ago, our friendship continued to be special, and grow, even though we left the Mitchell area with our young family to settle in Southeastern Michigan. Both Ronnie and I wish we could be present for the sevices of our special friend but my recent surgery has made driving any distance unlikely. I promise that when we can make the trip, we will. Until then please remember, Mickey, that we will always be there for you! I have contacted Carol Richardson and was told that both she and Jim were traveling for the weekend as I was able to reach them by cell phone. Carol said that she would bring something over to you the first of the week from us! Love always to you and family, Jim and Ronnie Kerekes

There isn't enough room on a page, or even in a book to share all the fun and happy memories of our time spent with "Mr.Jack". Rest in peace, my friend.

Connie, As we all know, there was only one Jack. I remember him from our younger years when he was always pulling pranks and being mischievous. Aunt Gatie thought the world of Jack and your grandma. I know you have lots of good times and great memories that will keep him with you forever. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you, Suzie
