CAMPBELLSBURG – James Russell Scott, Sr., 64, passed away at 1:44 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Hillcrest Village in Jeffersonville.

Born December 6, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of Ralph and Elizabeth (Bodner) Scott.  He married Patricia Ann Tidd September 12, 1998.

He worked at the Walmart Distribution Center, graduated from DeSales High School in Louisville, and attended the University of Kentucky.  He was an avid scuba diver and a member of Order of the Eagles No. 3516 in Salem.

James was a U. S. Air Force veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6636.

 His parents and daughter, Robin Scott, preceded him in death.

 Cremation has been chosen. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
