MITCHELL James Wallace Eversole, Mitchell, passed away at his home with his beloved wife and cherished children and grandchildren by his side on October 31, 2008, at 7:10 p.m. He has gone to be with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jim was born of goodly parents, John Wallace Eversole and Lorena (McPherson) Eversole on May 13, 1947 in Bedford who preceded him in death on October 10, 1964, and January 29, 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Marianne Lemen Eversole, whom he married on November 9, 1979.

He is survived by one son, John and his wife, Kathy
and their three daughters, Bethany Lynn,
Gabbrielle Elizabeth, and Chloe Ann of Plano,
Texas.

He is also survived by five daughters:
Susan Ray and her husband, Mike of Mitchell and their
three daughters, Emily Susanne Wing and her
husband, Ryan, and their daughter, Alexis Jayne
of Indianapolis, Ashley White and her husband,
Roger, and their daughter, Lilian Grace of
Orleans, and Amanda Barrett and her husband, Brad
of Provo, Utah
Sharon Minton and her husband, Matt, of Plainfield
Jill True and her children, Devan Elaine and
Christian Alan of Mitchell
Betsy Pace and her husband, Kevin and their three
daughters, Kirsten Elaine, Sierra Beth and Heidi
Louise of Colorado Springs, Colorado
Elizabeth Richardson and her husband, Steve, and
their two daughters, Katelynn Elaine and Madelynn
Ann of Greenwood

He is also survived by his brother, Robert Keith
Eversole and his wife, Brenda, of Madison and
their daughter, Sarah Beth Andrews and her
husband, Shannon and their daughter, Ava Maxine of
Hope.

Jim graduated from Mitchell High School in 1965. He helped his mother with their walnut business, Eversole Products, for several years. He worked at Gypsum for 8 years, and Central Foundry for 25 years. He also owned Eversole Telephone Systems for over 25 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many callings in the church and loved serving our Savior. He loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed nature and loved hunting, target practice, fishing, and walking at Spring Mill State Park with his wife, Marianne before his illness. He became ill with leukemia in February 2006. The courage, faith, and strength he showed made him a giant among men and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

The funeral will be in Bedford at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1010 22nd Street on Tuesday, November 4 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may call at Chastain Funeral Home on November 3 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on November 4 from noon until the service at the church.

Honorary Pallbearers: Aaron Ray, Joe DeWeese, and Shannon Fitzhugh.
Pallbearers will be his son, John Eversole, sons-in-law, Mike Ray, Kevin Pace, Steve Richardson, Matt Minton, and Steven Johnson, his brother, Bob Eversole and his only grandson, Christian True.
