I will always remember Jeff. I played in Mitchell Pee Wee League, Little League, Babe Ruth, and also throughout High School. God Bless and he was definitely a friend to all at the ball parks. Wow, what a great person. Im sure he was an angel to all that he interacted with. I cam remember for 4 yrs i also umpired at the little league and Jeff always made us all smile and laugh. When he wasnt there, we knew he was working or doing other things within the community. So blessed to have interacted with Jeff on so many times at the ball park.

Jeff has been a part of my whole family’s life through the years. He sat with us at my sons ball games at little league. He used to tease my sister and I . My son Tyler Gassman worked at the pool and Jeff spent many hours there with the lifeguards. My parents also shared with me some of their fond memories of Jeff. We all loved seeing him at the store. He took pride in his work. Jeff was an amazing person and he will be missed. Wish more people could take as much pride in there work as he did. God bless the family. Debbie Pugh and family

Ellsie Tyree was my great Aunt, I don't know if we are related but Greg always thought we were. I got to know Jeff pretty well from the pool and store when I was a teen into my 20's, he was the best guy I had the privilege of knowing, always will be. I hadn't seen him in 30 years but anytime I talked of the pool I would always talk about him and his great personality. Jeff will be missed be so many and I'm sure was an inspiration to all he had come into contact with. lots of love and hugs to all who loved this fine man!

Wasn't a Summer growing up or My kids growing up we didn't see Jeff at the pool, doing his famous Belly Buster and you had to watch LOL. I also remember returning my cart with a couple other ones and Jeff took his jib very seriously and in his politis way let me know that was his job. He would smile and absolutely melt your heart and make you smile with him. God is welcoming one of the best Angel's he's made Home. Thank You Jeff Love You Big Guy

I was blessed to know Jeffrey through the Mitchell JayC Food Stores and the Mitchell Basketball Program that my son participated. It was always a highlight of my day when I shopped there to have Jeffrey bag up my groceries, always a precious smile and friendly attitude. Then on Saturday mornings at the basketball league - how he cheered all the boys on and gave encouragement. What an outstanding young man!
