PLAINFIELD – Jerry Lee Myers, 92, formerly of Campbellsburg, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Cumberland Trace Senior Living in Plainfield.
Born December 1, 1933, in Salem, he was the son of Foster K. and Leta A. (Lawyer) Myers. He married Frances Ehlers on July 1, 1961, and she survives.
Jerry was a U.S. Army Veteran and a 1954 graduate of Campbellsburg High School. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church, American Legion Patton Chastain Post No. 195, and Campbellsburg Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Myers of Avon; son, Kelly (Sheryl) Myers of Avon; grandsons, Derek L. Myers and Damon K. Myers.
His parents and brother, Jack Myers, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, at Mt. Carmel Christian Church in Campbellsburg with Pastor Greg Strother officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with military rites accorded by American Legion Post No. 250.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the church.
