ORLEANS – Jimmie Lee Schofield, Sr., 49, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at his daughter’s residence.

Born April 20, 1966, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Richard L. and Katherine Irene (Robbins) Schofield, Sr.  He married Debbie Lou Gibson January 18, 2008.

Jimmie was employed in construction and was a member of the Hunting Club in Carlisle.  He loved hunting, fishing, and any activity outdoors.

His mother preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Johnny Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery in Fayetteville.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
