MITCHELL – John A. Atchison, 70, Mitchell, passed away at 2:13 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bedford.
Born August 1, 1937, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Hubert and Georgie (White) Atchison.
He was a retired drywall contractor and was a 1956 graduate of Huron High School. He was a member of the Bryantsville Church of Christ. His hobbies included restoring pedal cars.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at Bryantsville Cemetery with Brother Don White officiating. Burial will be in Bryantsville Cemetery.
