SAGINAW, MICHIGANJohn Cyrus Osborn, 86, Saginaw, Michigan, formerly of Bedford, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008, at Covenant-Cooper in Saginaw.
Born April 21, 1922, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of John William and Fannie (Brill) Osborn. He married Evelyn Wicker June 6, 1954.
He retired from General Motors in April of 1984 after 33 years of service. During his time at General Motors, he had assignments in Bedford, IN and Saginaw and Bay City, MI.
He served in the U. S. Navy from 1942 to 1945 on the U.S.S. Baldwin in Europe and Africa.

His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie McLain officiating. Burial will be in Talbott Cemetery with military rites accorded by Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9107.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
