MITCHELL John Lisker Miller, 76, Mitchell, passed away at 7:33 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at his residence.
Born November 4, 1933, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Cleo and Alta Cleophus (Moore) Miller. He married JoAnn Harrison June 26, 1959, and she preceded him in death July 25, 2003.
He retired from Central Foundry March 1, 1999, and was U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

His parents; wife; and brother, Ansel L. Miller, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Millard Jones officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 9107.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
