MITCHELL Juanita M. Tanksley, 79, Mitchell, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2009, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 19, 1930, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Frank and Alta (Pruett) Jones. She married Russell E. Gene Tanksley June 2, 1952.
Juanita retired from Bedford Regional Medical Center as a nurse technician and was a member of Woodville Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Hamer officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
