EAST OOLITIC Judy Ann Herald, 55, East Oolitic, passed away at 8:00 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2011, at her residence.

Born July 25, 1955, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Virgil R. and Alice E. (Reece) Knight. She married John Allen Herald October 16, 1971, and he preceded her in death November 20, 1999.

She had been employed as a CNA at Mitchell Manor. She was an avid bingo player and a member of the Salvation Army.

Her parents; husband; and brothers, Kenny Knight and Donnie Knight, preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, at Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday at Chastain Funeral Home.
