MITCHELL – Julia F. Tow Dorsett, 81, Mitchell, passed away at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 14, 1925, in Martin County, she was the daughter of Ora and Margaret (Hardesty) Melvin.
She was former co-owner of Zeke’s Restaurant and Lounge and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary No. 9107.

Her parents; four husbands, Tobe Baker, Harold Lee, Cletus “Zeke” Tow, and Lawrence “Cookie” Dorsett; sisters, Hazel Deibel, Velma Joan Melvin, and Helen Melvin; brothers, Ora O’Dell Melvin, Pearle Melvin, and Lowell Melvin; and a grandson, Danny Melton, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 4, at the Mitchell Cemetery with Pastor Allen Colwell officiating.
