Karen had such a gift with the kids. Her soft, gentle tone always put people at ease. She remembered all of the kids even years later and would ask how they were doing. She was a special lady and will be greatly missed. Praying for strength as we all figure out how to go on without her.

Karen was a special member of Plainfield United Methodist Church. She was always friendly and we enjoyed visiting with her. She contributed to the goodness the Church represents—especially with the “Angel Tree” which provides toys, clothing, etc for Prisoners children at Christmas hence adding joy to many young lives. We will miss her smiling face.

I was blessed enough to be hired at St Susanna by Karen. She was equal parts kind and fair and her faith was evident in how she taught and interacted with her coworkers. She will be sorely missed at school and she will by everyone else she interacted with. Prayer for comfort for her family as they heal from this loss. God Bless, Denise Mejean

We are so very sorry to learn of your mother's/grandmother's passing. I only had heard of her illness this past week. I'm sure this has been a most difficult year for you all. I always remember the time when your mom and I taught 3rd Grade Sunday School together. What a joy it was as we worked together. Karen was always chatty and full of joy. We will certainly miss her but we will continued to be better for having known and served with her. Much sympathy and love! Sue
