BEDFORD – Kenneth David George, 78, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born October 1, 1942, in East Oolitic, he was the son of Winfred Clyde and Edna Rose (Hawkins) George.  He graduated from Oolitic High School in 1960 and married Brenda Canada December 28, 1986.  She preceded him in death April 1, 2012.

Kenneth was a self-employed construction contractor.  He enjoyed playing poker, going to the boat and NASCAR.

Private family visitation will be followed by cremation.

    Our deepest sympathies to the entire family! Kenny was a great guy! Always had the best stories and experiences to tell! Every time we would drive somewhere we would always pass a house he would have a story about some of the work he had once done there! He done a lot of work for a lot of people! Was always laughing and making jokes even when he was angry sometimes and was definitely proud of his children and grandchildren. I know he sure missed Brenda and you guys can all find comfort that they could e together again now.
