 SEYMOUR – Krista Dawn Fields, 44, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018, at her residence.

Born March 4, 1974, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Barney and Carolyn S. (Blackburn) Goins.  She married John Eric Fields September 11, 2015.  Her first marriage was to Charles Lee Cooper who preceded her in death September 24, 2007.

Krista was a registered nurse and had been employed at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Her husband, Charles Lee Cooper; grandparents, Gordon and Alice Blackburn and Brownlow and Cora Goins; and favorite uncle, Ronnie Gene Blackburn, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Millard Jones officiating.  Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

    I will always remember the fun weekends in Jr High playing Wham! and Duran Duran songs over and over, making up dance routines with Krista. We had tons of fun doing that. I’m so sorry for your loss. May she Rest In Peace.
