MITCHELL Larry L. Kirk, 70, Mitchell, passed away at 11:25 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.

Born January 2, 1941, in Mitchell, he was the son of Floyd and Ethel (Taylor) Kirk. He married Beverly Jean Burgess November 19, 1960, and she preceded him in death. His second marriage was to Dorothy L. (King) Coulter February 28, 2002.

He was a carpenter and had been employed by Tri-County Builders. He retired from Local Union No. 546. Larry graduated from Mitchell High School in 1958 and attended the Mitchell Church of the Nazarene.

Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, at the Mitchell Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Mark Bechtel and Bro. Jim Russell officiating.

Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the service on Tuesday at the church.

A family graveside service will be on Wednesday at Mitchell Cemetery.
