MITCHELL – Larry Lee Kirk, 75, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at his residence.

Born April 26, 1946, in Mexico, New York, he was the son of Joseph and M. Faye (Freeman) Kirk.  He married Brenda Jean Gilbert September 20, 1969, and she preceded him in death June 8, 2009.

Larry retired from General Motors and was a member of UAW Local 440.  He enjoyed going to auctions and collecting various items.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Reserves.

His parents; wife; brother, Ivie Kirk; and sister, Virginia Kirk, preceded him in death.

Cremation was chosen.

    I knew Larry in grade school in Chittenango, NY and lost track of him when the family moved away. His sister Virginia was my babysitter. I am sorry to learn that he has passed. We were close friends when very young. Condolences to all who knew and loved him.
