MITCHELL – Laura Ellen Conway, 87, passed away at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at her residence.

Born December 4, 1925, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Hendly and Rachel (Hampton) Diamond. She married Paul Conway June 2, 1942, and he preceded her in death May 1, 1984.

Laura was a homemaker.

Surviving: sons, Glen Conway, Phoenix, Arizona
 Henry Conway, Mitchell
 sister, Wilma Gerkin, Needmore
 brother, John Diamond, Loogootee
 2 grandchildren
6 great grandchildren
 1 great great grandson

Her parents and husband preceded her in death.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 21, at Hilltop Cemetery with Brother John Diamond and Brother Greg McBride officiating.

Friends may call from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
