Your Dad was as well respected as any man I can think of from our community. I'm sure it would be hard to imagine all the people he had influence upon in his lifetime. Wish I was able to pay my respects in person. You were blessed with very awesome parents.

Brad, Danny, Mrs. Beasley, Bernard, so sad to see this. I prayed @ every meal and at bed time for Plush to be with Mary as soon as possible. Life is bad enough anymore and without a part of his life missing . He 1st got my respect when i worked at the Crawford Morris Labor company. He Always sent a employee to help me unload my truck. NO one ever helped. That was okay, i was a poor dirty young punk and it was my job. Rex always told me to have Plush sign my delivery ticket. On one delivery, Plush must have spent 20 mins. just talking to/with me. Other workers just stared at us. After that day, everyone wanted to help me unload that truck! I will ALWAYS remember him as a Super nice and very very SMART man . Enjoyed listening to him speak on anything he said. I am so happy he is back with Mary, and the GREAT time they are having in Heaven! Prayes for all the family. GOD Bless you!

To all the Powell family; I was saddened to he if your dads passing. But have such fond memories of all the ball games and practices that occurred under Plush’s watchful eye. He and your mother were great supporters of you four bros and of everyone that played with you. They left quite a legacy and I hope the memories of them lift you up in this time of sorrow. Peace, ~pete

I am so sad that Lee has left this world but I rejoice that he is now with his beloved wife. Lee made quite an impression on me from day one. He always had a smile and a sweet comment for me. I felt very loved when dealing with Plush and I hope he knows how much I loved him. Work will not be the same without him...I will miss him. A few weeks ago, he gave me a floral arrangement that was getting in his way in his room. I brought it home and put it in my dining room table so I think of him every time I look at it.. and I smile. I was so privileged to have cared for Lee, and having the opportunity to know his wonderful family. I was blessed to have known this wonderful man. My thoughts and prayers are with you. ❤

Danny and family, I am sorry to see that Plush has passed. I will always remember the jokes he told, the time he brought his bulldozer over to level out our building lot and rode Cole Hardman around when Cole was a baby. He was a great man that helped raise 4 great men!
