MITCHELL – Lenuel “Bud” Stancombe, 69, Mitchell, passed away at 2:42 a.m. Sunday, April 10, 2005, at Select Speciality Hospital, Bloomington.
Born February 28, 1936, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Clyde and Nettie (East) Stancombe. He married Betsy H. Jones August 7, 1958, and she survives.
He was formerly employed at several limestone companies.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Speer officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
