SHOALS Lina Elizabeth “Granny” McPherson, 85, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2012, at her residence.
Born December 22, 1926, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of James M. and Minnie Pearl (Patton) Reynolds. She married James Owen McPherson November 7, 1942 and he preceded her in death October 20, 2009.
She was a homemaker and a member of the House of Prayer.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Rev. Bill Raines officiating.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the residence, 12450 High Gap Road, Shoals.
