FRENCH LICK – Linda Faye Courtright, 84, formerly of Mitchell, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Springs Valley Meadows.
Born December 17, 1941, in Gatchel, she was the daughter of Woodrow and Anna Lucile (Crowe) Alvey. She married Kenneth Edmond Courtright on May 23, 1959 and he preceded her in death January 16, 2010.
Linda was a homemaker, but worked for Pluto Corp. for several years. She enjoyed reading, flowers, and traveling with her husband. Linda was a member of Fairview Church in Shoals.
Surviving are her children, Sherry Lynn (Jake) Zehr of Dubois and Penny Ann (Tony) Robbins of French Lick; seven grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry (Karen) Alvey of Paoli and Rita Eaton of Bloomington.
Her parents; husband; and siblings, Donnie Alvey and Jerry Alvey, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday, September 25, at Mitchell Cemetery with Minister John Moffatt officiating.
