MITCHELL – Linda G. Dunn, 74, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at her home.

Born September 14, 1951, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Hamel and Dorothy (Wagner) Henderson.  Linda married Donald Lee Dunn on October 17, 1969 and he survives.

Linda was a 1969 graduate of Mitchell High School and retired from Paoli, Inc.  She was a member of Woodville Baptist Church.  Linda enjoyed collecting wind chimes and angels.  She loved watching her grandkids and great-grandkids play sports.  Linda never met a stranger and was loved by all.

Surviving are her husband, Donald Lee Dunn of Mitchell; children, Donetta Lynn (Shawn) Cole of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Dennis Lee (Stacey) Dunn of Seymour, and Diane Lynette (David) Cooper of Mitchell; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jerry (Linda) Henderson of Bedford, Wayne Henderson of Bedford, Raymond (Anna) Henderson of Mitchell, and Brenda Diehl of Mitchell.

Her parents; granddaughter, Chelsea Cooper; infant great-granddaughter, Madison Freeman; siblings, Thomas Henderson, Lester Henderson, Doyle Henderson, Allen Henderson, Frank Gray, and Lloyd Henderson; and ex son-in-law, Joseph A. Schrader, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 29, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Glenn Hamer and Reverend Jordan Philpott officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28, and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
