MITCHELL Linda Kay Asbery, 64, Mitchell, passed away at 5:33 a.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford.
Born January 1, 1946, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Calvin and Beatrice M. (Case) Mundy. She was formerly married to Hubert Asbery.
She had been employed at Carpenter Body Works and was affiliated with Tulip Street Christian Church. She was an avid bingo fan.

Her parents; brothers, Joe Mundy, Jerry Mundy, and infant Richard Mundy; and infant sister, Violet May Mundy, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, August 29, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Bro. Greg McBride officiating. Burial will be in Lawrenceport Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 11:30 a.m. Sunday until the service at the funeral home.
